Recruit Express - New Web Integration Features

The interest generated when we released Recruit Express last quater was impressive. 

We have now completed the next phase of development on Recruit Express, which provides web site integration. You can now perform the following tasks from a web site, with direct interaction with the data in the Recruit Express database.

• Candidates can register their details.

• Candidates can log in and make changes to their details.

• You can view positions currently available from the web site.

Registering Candidate Details

Having to manually enter every potential candidate is a very time consuming task, but with the new web interface, the candidate can input their information directly from your web site. 

When a Candidate registers from the web site, their details will popup in a special view in Recruit Express, on the consultant's desktop. The consultant can then check the information and follow up on any details with the new candidate. 

Part of the registration process gives the candidate the option to also submit their resume.

The file submitted by the candidate is then available in Recruit Express, as part of the Candidate's record.

The candidate is also prompted for a password, which they will need to provide if they come back to edit their data at a later time.

When the information is submitted, there is data checking on the form, which ensures that only valid data is allowed into the Recruit Express system. The "rules" being used are kept in a separate file, enabling recruiting companies to easily make modifications to suit their own requirements. 

Candidate access to edit data

Having entered their data into Recruit Express, candidates of course need to also be able to access their data. 

For a candidate to login, its simply a matter of supplying their email address and password. Once this is validated, the Candidate information is displayed in a form, for them to view or make changes.

Clicking on the submit button then writes the edited data back to Recruit Express.

Viewing All Currently Available Assignments/Jobs

Another feature is the ability to check which jobs or assignments are currently available from the website. 

All of this web site integration is achieved with standard ASP techniques. It is a very simple matter for modifications to be made to suit particular requirements.
