New Version of AccountLink

myob_logo.GIF (2582 bytes)In October we will be releasing our new version of the AccountLink interface between Commence and MYOB.

AccountLink bi-directionally synchronises data between Commence and your MYOB data file. This means you can be making changes in Commence and at the same time, your accounting staff can be using MYOB. Periodically (say nightly) AccountLink runs automatically - picking up new company information, products and invoices.

Typical examples of how this is being used

  • A customer service representative is advised of a new client address. This is updated in Commence and AccountLink automatically handles the changes in MYOB.
  • A salesperson creates a quote in Commence. The client decides to go ahead, the stock is on hand and the salesperson can immediately convert the quote to an invoice, print and send the goods with the invoice. AccountLink takes care of entering the invoice into MYOB.
  • At the same time, accounting staff are issuing regular invoices. AccountLink is updating Commence with this information, so at any time a sales person can see exactly what has been sold.

The new version of AccountLink includes several new features

  • Streamlined integration with MYOB; one step installation and nothing further to purchase form MYOB.
  • More control for existing Commence databaes, with the ability to configure the field mapping
  • Synchronisation of Contact name from MYOB
  • Enhanced synchronisation algorithm
  • Full control over which data is synchronised (e.g. Company Out, Company In, Invoices In, etc)
  • Logging of each AccountLink operation and view showing status.

If you would like to receive more information about the AccountLink interface to MYOB, please proceed to our Feedback page.
