When
you first see Recruit Express, it would be understandable if the
simple, easy-to-use interface deceived you into thinking that Recruit
Express was a basic contact manager, that only tracks names, address
and phone numbers.
But behind its familiar facade, Recruit Express has advanced
features that no contact manager could ever match, including:
Designed Specifically For Recruiters
Recruit Express
is designed from the ground up to reduce the time it takes to process
candidates. For example, when a new assignment is added, it is given a unique tracking
number, and today's date is automatically entered. You can select the skills required from a list or add new ones in.
Then you can quickly see
all of the candidates who
have the particular skill or skills required for a given
assignment. Once you have found someone that may be suitable for the
position, you simply
click on the "tick" icon to associate the candidate
with the assignment.
As new candidates call up, responding to positions advertised, all
their information is captured conveniently in one location, and they
are automatically associated with the position they have enquired
about.

Easier to Customise
Unlike a contact manager, you don't have to put up with missing
fields or fields don't make sense for the way you work. It's easy for
authorised users to add new fields or categories into your Recruit
Express database, as well as modify or remove existing ones. Recruit
Express supports up to 1000 categories, making the possibilities for
expansion virtually limitless.
In addition, you can use the built-in Detail Form Designer to
easily alter the look and feel of Recruit Express, as well as
designing your own customised forms in a simple, drag-and-drop
environment.
Data Validation and Data Entry Automation
Recruit Express has data validation technology built into its forms,
making it easy to ensure that you don't accidentally enter incorrect
information, as well as automating certain functions. For example,
Recruit Express makes sure that you enter 10 digits for a phone
number, as well as warning you automatically if you try to add a
duplicate or pre-existing company or contact in to the database.
Recruit Express also automatically puts the Suburb text into uppercase,
and
automatically looks up the postcode for you.
Save Time Working with Letters
Recruit Express integrates with most popular word processors. Document templates
designed for Mail Merge operations can be set up from within
Recruit Express, and a number of templates are included to get you started.
Names, addresses and other relevant fields can automatically be inserted into
your letters, before printing or faxing them out. A note is logged
against the person you sent the letter to with a link to the actual
file for quick viewing later on.
Creating
acceptance and rejection letters is easy with Recruit Express. When a position is filled, Recruit Express keeps a record of
who the
successful candidate was. It can then automatically print a letter to the unsuccessful
candidates and/or a letter to congratulate the successful candidate.
Create and Print Shortlists In An Instant
Provide a shortlist report to clients is often
a time consuming procedure. Recruit Express simplifies shortlists by tracking default
information for each candidate, and allowing a candidate's data to be modified to suit a
particular assignment.

Find Ideal Candidates Immediately
Recruit Express includes Selection Assistant, which allows you to
quickly locate candidates on file that meet the criteria for a particular
assignment. Selection Assistant scans your existing candidates and
matches their skills with those needed for the assignment.

Easier Report Writing
A built-in Report Writer is included with Recruit Express, and
allows you to create What You See is What You Get (WYSIWYG) reports
with ease. Recruit Express uses Report Writer to create documents such
as the Candidate Shortlist, and you can also create your own reports
using the included Report Designer.
Shared Calendar and Schedules
Recruit Express includes a complete Group Calendar and scheduling
tool, which allows you to keep total control over your appointments,
interviews and meetings. You can graphically view your calendar by the day, week, month or year,
with colour coding to easily identify the types of meetings you have scheduled.
Drag and drop items to schedule or reschedule appointments, and enhance
your productivity using features such as conflict identification and
the appointment alarm.
Advanced Microsoft Outlook Integration
Recruit Express integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook 2000,
XP and 2003. You can share your Recruit Express contact database with
the Outlook address book, and integrate your Outlook calendar and task
list with Recruit Express. Additional integration features include the
ability to log email directly into Recruit Express, and support for Outlook's group scheduling features.
Better E-mail Marketing
Recruit Express includes powerful email tools to automate
the delivery of both marketing E-mails and electronic sales literature.
Work Away From Your Office
Recruit Express uses Commence RM's Distributed Database
Architecture, which allows you to work away from your office,
without an Internet or network connection, while still having full
access to your data. Simply unplug your laptop from your network and
walk away - when you return, Recruit Express will automatically
synchronise your computer with the server.
In addition, Recruit Express supports synchronising data using an
internet connection or dialling in to your server, allowing you to work
remotely for long periods of time and still keep pace with the latest
developments back at your office.
Integrates With MYOB
With the optional AccountLink package, you can automatically
update your MYOB
accounting package from the data entered into Recruit Express. Changes entered in
Recruit Express are recognised by AccountLink and the corresponding records in MYOB
are updated or added. AccountLink also finds any
changed data in MYOB and updates or adds the associated records in
Recruit Express. Now all of your staff can have up to date information, and
you can eliminate costly and time-consuming double entry of data.
Integrates With Your Website
Recruit Express includes website integration, so candidates
can do the hard work for you! Your candidates can interact directly with the Recruit Express database via your website. Candidates can:

The file submitted by the candidate is then available in Recruit
Express, as part of the Candidate's record.
