Commence Maintenance Plans

Our customers want to ensure they remain as competitive as possible, while managing their Commence software investment. Commence Maintenance Plans are the ideal way to meet these objectives, by providing free updates and basic technical support.

"Customers want to ensure that their software will continually be updated, yet are also looking for a solid value in keeping their software current. Based on the large number of upgrades and continual enhancements to the product, our customers see the exceptional value and are benefiting from it", she concluded.

Customers benefit from maintenance in many ways:

  1. Customers get the security of knowing that they are working with the latest version of the software, receiving new enhancements, patches and bug fixes as they come out.
  2. Customers are able to budget for annual maintenance more easily than having to go back to management and seek approval every time an upgrade is required.
  3. Customers are more willing to commit to annual maintenance than getting upgrades each year - especially if the cost of being on maintenance is far cheaper than the cost of upgrading.
  4. Customers know that down time is minimised through responsive and knowledgeable answers to technical support questions (basic technical support).

Commence maintenance includes:

  • Free upgrades to new versions and service pack updates of Commence over the 12 month period of the contract. 
  • Basic technical support (2 incidents per license), by phone and email.

Commence Maintenance represents great value, as it is a fraction of the cost of an upgrade, plus it also includes basic technical support.

Note: Commence maintenance can only be purchased at the time of purchasing new licenses or upgrading your existing ones. Basic Technical support is only available to Advanced User Systems' customers.

Range of Commence Support Plans

In addition to Commence Maintenance Plans, Advanced User Systems offers a number of other support options, designed to meet your particular requirements.

Installation Support

A 30 day period of initial installation support from your date of purchase, provided at no charge. This service is intended to assist you through your first installation and to introduce you to additional services available.

Maintenance Plans 

As discussed above, this is the best way to ensure you receive free updates and basic technical support.. 

Support Plans

Advanced User Systems offers support plans for the Designer Edition on an incident or hourly basis. This allows customers to select a program best suited to their personal and/or business needs. Hourly based Support Plans can be extended to include consulting.

Professional Services

We also offers professional services for our customers who may wish to have customisation, programming or training assistance with their Commence products.
