The latest release, Commence RM 3.1 is almost here. This exciting
new version is due for release in the US this month, and
internationally very soon after! Our customers on a Maintenance Plan
will automatically receive their update to Commence RM 3.1.
This release includes many new features, which will make Commence
users more productive and efficient. Some of the areas that are
enhanced include
- Refinements to existing features, with improvements to Windows
support and Outlook integration, synchronisation, Connect for
E-mail, and Palm Pilot Link
- New ways to View and Manage Commence Information: Detail Form,
Report Viewer, Organisational Chart & Sales Funnel, and Excel
Integration.
- Enhanced programming APIs
- Pre-built CRM framework: Contact Management and Sales
Forecasting.
Feature Refinements
There are a number of improvements in Windows support
- XP cosmetics and theme support
- Mouse wheel support
- International date/time formats
- Outlook security prompt suppressed - for Outlook synchronisation
and E-mail logging

Connect for E-mail now supports additional Office file types and
automated e-mail jobs can be set up.
The Palm Pilot Link has been updated to support the latest devices
such as Treo 650.
Detail Form Designer/Runtime
There have been major enhancements to the Detail Form architecture.

These new tools assist in moving key reports into Excel, so you can
easily leverage the powerful tools that Excel provides to represent

As noted earlier, customers on a Commence Maintenance Plan will
receive the Commence RM 3.1 Upgrade automatically, at no charge.
For customers not on a Maintenance Plan, we can offer special
upgrade pricing. This is also a great time to get onto the maintenance
Plan, so you will be assured of receiving further new enhancements at
no charge (for the term of the Maintenance Plan).
