Commence Business Partners Find Exceptional Value in Version 3.1

Sunday, September 11th, concluded three days of extensive training for Commence Business Partners that sell and service the company's popular Designer Edition product. The focus of the session was to introduce the new enhancements in version 3.1 and ensure that Commence partners are prepared to support the large number of customers that will be implementing this new release.

Doug Beardsley, president of Infocom Solutions, a Connecticut based  business partner, was pleased with the direction of the product and its new functionality. "Commence has introduced a CRM Framework" says Beardsley, "that consists of pre-built CRM applications and tools that enable them to be customised. It's a forward-thinking enhancement that empowers new and existing Commence customers with inspiring new functionality, and the ability to meet changing business requirements."

The new CRM Framework includes functional and technology enhancements as well, such as a seamless interface to Microsoft Excel offering enhanced graphical reporting, an organisation chart that automatically displays the reporting structure or hierarchy of customers and prospects, and Active X controls that enable third party programs to be easily integrated to the core Commence program.

In addition to the North American Business Partners, representatives from several European countries attended the session. Hans Wegman, president of Memocom, an exclusive distributor of Commence products in Holland and Germany felt the trip was extremely, worthwhile. "I was intrigued with the concept of the CRM Framework and I wanted to get an early look at the new product," says Wegman. "It's impressive and will be a valuable upgrade for Commence customers."

Version 3.1 will be shipping at the end of September to customers in North America that have an annual software maintenance agreement. Information and release date for International customers will be announced in the coming weeks.
