AccountLink Bi-directional Interface from MYOB to Commence

One of the questions we have most often been asked is "how can I integrate my CRM system with my accounting system?". Well, with AccountLink, this is now solved!

AccountLink is an option to Commence RM: Australian Edition, providing a unique solution for synchronising financial and accounting data with a company’s CRM system.

AccountLink ensures company information, product lists, prices and sales are kept up to date in both the accounting system and the CRM system. Changes can be made in either system, and AccountLink will make the required changes bi-directionally.

In the first implementation of AccountLink, we have chosen to integrate with the most popular accounting package for small to medium sized businesses, MYOB.

How many times have you made a change to an address in your contact manager and then had to go to accounts to make the same change? With AccountLink the data is automatically synchronised. The changes you make in the Contact Manager in Commence are automatically made in MYOB. Also if you change a card in MYOB, this will be automatically updated in Commence.

The same applies to your MYOB items (Products in Commence) and your Item Invoices. So now you will always be able to immediately look up the sales history for your customers directly from Commence; no need to start up MYOB to make the enquiry.

This increases efficiency by saving double entry of data, and will help you close more business with the client's buying history available immediately.

You can choose how often the update takes place - interactive, every hour or every night. AccountLink also give you a convenient interface to specify all the odbc settings required to communicate with MYOB.

In the current release, AccountLink works with MYOB Accounting v11 or later and MYOB Premier v5 or later. AccountLink also requires that MYOB odbc v1.5 is already installed and the MYOB file has been registered. For demonstration purposes, the Clearwater file can be used without being registered.
