AccountLink 4.0 Released - "Bridge" to MYOB

We are pleased to announce that AccountLink v4.0 has now been released!

AccountLink has received strong acceptance from our clients, and there has been tremendous interest from organisations looking at implementing CRM, that also need to integrate with MYOB.

AccountLink provides a powerful tool to move CRM data automatically between your CRM system and MYOB. This means that company, product and invoice data is always kept synchronised and up to date between the two packages.

The initial release of AccountLink v4.0 will support Commence RM 3.0 and Commence RM 3.1. We have also nearly finished work on adding support for Microsoft CRM, and hope to announce the availability of this option within the next 2 months.

AccountLink v4.0 has been built from the ground up using .Net, and  includes many new features such as

  • standalone user interface

  • improved feedback of progress and estimated time to completion

  • improved logging and handling of MYOB import warnings and errors

  • ability to connect to various CRM packages

  • support for MYOB ODBC v5

  • new export and import of settings

  • new, enhanced installer

AccountLink provides an intuitive, easy to use interface. Once the synchronisation process begins, the user is kept informed of the status and estimated time to completion.

Its very easy to set up AccountLink - simply specify the CRM package, MYOB file location and login details. You can also assign the location for the log file and default accounts to use. AccountLink works with MYOB Premier v9.02 and MYOB Accounting Plus v15 (both use ODBC v5.06 drivers).

Commence users will be pleased to see that AccountLink provides complete flexibility to use custom category, field and connection names they have used. There is also a convenient utility included to verify all the field names are valid.

Of course, for Commence RM: Australian Edition users, AccountLink is pre-configured with the correct category and field names.

At the completion of the synchronisation process, you can view a detailed log of the activity, to provide a complete audit trail of data transfers.

We anticipate that AccountLink for Microsoft CRM version 1.2  will be available within the next 60 days.

We are also developing a version of AccountLink specifically for Microsoft CRM 3.0, which will offer new features available in that release.

For more information about AccountLink, please refer to our web site, www.aus.com.au/accountlink, or download the AccountLink data sheet.  There is also an evaluation download that you can obtain from  www.aus.com.au/accountlink.
